Jürgen joins BioCina’s Strategic Advisory Board with over 20 years of senior leadership experience in the pharmaceutical and life-sciences manufacturing sector. He holds a doctorate in pharmaceutical technology from the University of Freiburg and a business administration qualification from St. Gallen Business School.
Throughout his career, Jürgen has delivered strong results in manufacturing operations across solid dosage forms, transdermal systems, high-active implants and sterile products. He has consistently driven excellence in quality management — including roles as EU-Qualified Person (QP) and Responsible Person under Swiss law — and has deep experience in supply chain management across emerging markets.
In his most recent operational roles, Jürgen led a contract manufacturing business unit with full P&L responsibility, where his strategic, analytical and conceptual thinking enabled significant growth. He is a down-to-earth, hands-on entrepreneur who is ambitious, results-driven and an excellent communicator and networker.
Jürgen works on the foundation of values such as respect, responsibility, reliability, fairness, openness and team success — values which align closely with BioCina’s mission and culture. His addition to the Advisory Board will strengthen BioCina’s strategic execution in advanced drug delivery and manufacturing excellence.
